Good times right now for the team as the official pictures of the new 3run 720 Volt Free Running Trainers are released.
The trainer itself has been massively improved in every way from the sole to the weight. The grip was obviously another key area we focused on as we needed a trainer that coped with a number of different surfaces. The sole is also vitally important when designing a Freerunning Trainer as the right cushioning to reduce impact on the joints prevents the injury of the Athlete. We’re very excited to have these amazing training shoes available soon to buy from the 3run Shop – http://www.3run.co.uk/shop
We’ve taken all the comments and thoughts from all our followers over the last few years about the 360 volts, and worked our magic in developing the best trainer possible for Freerunning. There going to be a couple of colour options as well including the one in the pic below.
The official release date of the shoes will be in the next 2 months as they are currently in production. You can expect a few more pictures being uploaded to the 3run Facebook over the coming weeks.
Let us know you thoughts on how they look.

Mike and the 3RUN Team head to the Sky Broadcasting grounds to perform on top of Europe’s Largest BigTop tent. The guys had such an amazing time jumping and flipping on the tent itself. The guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the our client, Sky wasn’t expecting such jaw dropping stunts off a tent. Ultimately they were impressed as to we’re the audience.
During our time were also had the pleasure of meeting Got To Dance 2013 Winner Lukas McFarlane. Such a humble, nice guy with such creative talent. Lukas showed his support by wearing our new 3RUN Bands in his performance in front of 5000 people.
3RUN have opened the first dedicated Parkour, Free Running and tricking gym run by the professionals at the top of the game. The 3RUN team will be there to introduce students to the beautiful arts of Parkour, Free Running and Tricking in a state of the art facility catering for every level. 3RUN aim to work on each end of the scale, safely introducing new comers to a positive way of life and a new sport, working from the bottom up. Yet on the other hand working closely with talented individuals to get them up to world class performing level. 3RUN classes aim to get its students through a graded system, very similar to earning your black belt in Karate, you will be able to get a black band in 3RUN.
As well as running Parkour and Free Running classes, 3RUN have also pioneered a revolutionary fitness programme designed at getting its students in the best shape of their lives. The gym is something of the past, we always felt that lifting weights was a little mundane so we created a workout using the foundations of parkour and free running, all natural body weight exercises and came up with Street Fit

3RUN Athletes Mike Wilson, Chase Armitage, Sam Parham and Matt Armitage touched down in Rotterdam for the 2013 Jump Event featuring all the top athlete from around the world, including Jason Paul from Team Farang, Pip Andersen from Storm, the talented Storror Parkour guys, Bart Van Der Linden and many more. The event went incredibly well, and the whole team had such a laugh along the way.
As this was the 1st gathering Mike and the team had been to for many years, we didn’t know what to expect. The training facility we stayed in was home to an amazing Indoor Parkour and Free Running facility, with everything you needed to train. Being able to train with the top athletes from around the world, allowed myself and the 3RUN team to expand our own abilities and learn new exciting styles of movement. The talent was definitely at its best with everyone pushing themselves to the max, and this positive vibe simply bounced of everyone.
We can wait to be involved with many more events around the world, continuing with the Launch of the 3RUN Evolution Academy, opening on 23rd June 11:30am. Details can be found on the Academy website – http://ww.3run.co.uk/academy

We are pleased to announce (finally) the launch of the new Thomson Cruises Commercial – ‘Dream Escape’. 3RUN Media was approached by Thomson Cruises with the brief to put together an action packed ‘Mission Impossible’ commercial to preview the new Cruise Liner – The Thomson Dream.
We put together a number of story board options for the initial presentation, but it was clear everyone loved the beautiful simplicity of the cheeky FreeRunners who by-pass security in a desperate bid to be the first to see the new ship in all it’s glory.
From there it was a case of casting the Free Runners and Security guards, which of course came down to a simple selection from our World Class FreeRunning Troupe 3RUN. The beauty of such an in house production is the synergies of a great working pattern between what happens infront of camera, AND behind. We pride ourselves on our ability to shoot action like no other production company and that really shines through in this beautiful piece.
We had our Heli POV camera’s at full disposal, crane jibs and glide cams to capture the action exactly as we envisioned.
The final edit came together and as ever, the only problem was selecting which shots couldn’t make the final cut. Click here to see the premiere of the new commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Oec-RqntkA
3RUN Athletes, Mike Wilson, Scott Young, Chase Armitage, Cane Armitage, Cole Armitage & Sam Parham all begin rehearsals in Twickenham, UK for Live Show in Birmingham for Vodafone.
With a 10m x 8m stage and a 1000 seater venue, the 3RUN Team are no doubt going to pull some epic tricks out the bag.
Mike and the 3RUN Team brought all their Film Production experience, and general knowledge of Cinematography, making the latest 4th Fusion League episode, one of the best yet. With some amazingly choreographed Freerunning sequences in several locations, including massive roof gaps, double front flips, and some standard epic moves from our close personal friend and Red Bull Athlete – Ryan Doyle.
As always we wanted to make the shots look totally epic, so we also brought down 3RUN’s Aerial Cinematographers – HeliPOV who provided the epic shots we needed with their latest piece of kit. With new upgrades, including a super smooth gimbal and capable of holding a Red Epic Professional Camera, we was naturally excited about how these shots would turn out. As always they delivered.
We filmed some amazing talent today and can’t wait to show the 3RUN Family and the World. It’s definitely the most exciting, action packed episode yet.
Big thanks and please do share the post to increase the hype for this amazing 4th Episode.
Filming begins today for the 4th part of Fusion League. An online TV Series Produced by 3RUN Media Ltd, for the Flow Network. The series will showcase an array of movements from Martial Arts to Freerunning including Body Popping from Crazy Popper of Sky 1 HD’s Got To Dance. The key focus is predominantly Parkour and Freerunning movements with a story to grip the audience and for them to really get to know each character in the short films.
Cage is the Leader of the Fusion League. After his previous League was destroyed in an ambush by the Movement Order, Cage and his partner – Tidus, begin their journey to rebuild the League with an even stronger team. Each new member is given a particular piece of clothing, which holds the Fusion Power. Episode 4 showcases the Gravity Gods which will show some incredible Freerunning skills by the guys.
Filming started with the Movement Order scene featuring Cane Armitage, Mike Wilson and “Irshia” who is played by Michael Worwood of the Got To Dance Semi-Finalists – Methods Of Movement. The Production Team had such jokes filming as they always do, making the series so much fun to make. All the action will be filmed tomorrow where we expect all the Freerunners to pull out some epic moves and sequences.
